The Morning Memo/Tuesday: Foxes, plastic bags

Weather: Freezing fog until late morning. A cloudy day, but it’s expected to reach 41. More fog tomorrow. And ain’t we lucky: Rain Thursday. Ah, but Friday, fog in the morning, sunny in the afternoon. We’ll take that. The details.

Plastic bags sacked in Mukilteo: The city council has voted to ban plastic bags in the city, effective in 2013, but there are exceptions, including for restaurant take-out food, plastic bags used in stores for meat, bulk food and vegetables, according to The Associated Press.

Traffic: could be icy. It’s cold out there. The map and cams.

Military helicopters crash: We’re working on getting more on the helicopters that crashed at Joint-Base Lewis-McChord last night. Four soldiers were killed.
