Bat, crowbar used in road-rage incident

There is not points to locate on the map

Mount Vernon Police say four people got into a fight Saturday morning near Interstate 5 in an apparent road-rage incident.

The fight reportedly broke out around 10:40 a.m. on the I-5 off-ramp at College Way after a driver in one vehicle cut off another as they headed northbound. Both drivers pulled off the highway at the College Way exit in Mount Vernon and stopped in the road to get out of their vehicles, police say.

One vehicle was occupied by a man and a woman, the other by two men. Police say a crowbar was used to hit a 54-year-old man in the leg, and a 21-year-old man was punched. One of the participants had a baseball bat. Each vehicle also had a window broken.

When paramedics arrived at the scene they found one person with minor injuries, and another person refused medical treatment.
