Woman bites, kicks Seattle cop during arrest

There is not points to locate on the map

A Seattle woman suspected of domestic violence didn’t exactly go quietly this morning while she was being arrested. According to police, the woman bit and kicked an officer before she was finally subdued.

Police responded around 2 a.m. to reports of domestic violence in a home in the 1600 block of 8th Avenue. The victim told police that the woman had tried to strangle him and then fled before officers arrived.

About 90 minutes later, the victim called 911 again and said the woman had returned and assaulted him again.

Officers returned to the home and arrested the woman. According to a police account, the woman “actively resisted by pushing, pulling and flailing her body.” Police said she bit one officer’s forearm and tried to kick him.

As she was taken to a patrol car, the woman continued to lash out, trying to bite the officer again and kicking him several times in the lower leg.

She was booked into King County Jail for investigation of domestic violence assault and investigation of assault on an officer.
