Worker injured at Boeing Everett facility

EVERETT — A contract employee for Boeing was injured Monday morning in an industrial accident at the company’s Everett site.

The incident happened at about 11 a.m. The Everett Herald reported that a caller to 911 described what sounded like an explosion and possible fire.

The individual was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Boeing says the person works for Sequoyah Electric. The name of the employee was not released. No other details were immediately available. Boeing says it is investigating the accident.
