UPDATE: Missing autistic teen found safe

Frank Nguyen

UPDATE AT 4:31 P.M.:  The teenage boy reported missing earlier today apparently had been found even before authorities put out the call for help, according to Times news partner WhiteCenterNow.com.

The King County Sheriff’s Office says someone found Frank Nguyen by a road late this morning and took him to Harborview Medical Center. Due to Frank’s autism, it took a while before authorities were able to determine who he was.

WhiteCenterNow.com says Frank is OK and safe.

ORIGINAL POST: King County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old autistic boy.

Frank Ngyuen, was last seen this morning around 7:45 at the Evergreen Community Aquatics Center, next to Evergreen High School in White Center. He lives about a mile away in Burien, said sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. John Urquhart.

Frank is about 160 pounds, 5-feet-7 with a medium build. He was wearing a baseball cap, white polo shirt with a long sleeve shirt underneath and blue jeans. He was not wearing a jacket.

He is unable to speak, Urquhart said.

Anyone who sees the boy is asked to call 911.
