Everett man allegedly shot by wife dies

An Everett man who police said was shot by his wife last week has died.

The 42-year-old man was taken off life support Saturday afternoon, according to a news release from the Everett Police Department. He was hospitalized in critical condition last Thursday night following the shooting inside the apartment he shared with his wife in the 2500 block of Chestnut Street.

The man’s 30-year-old wife is expected to be charged today with murder, according to Everett police.
