Four arrested after gunshots fired at Edmonds park

There is not points to locate on the map

Edmonds police arrested four men today after gunshots were fired at Yost Park.

Police say that around 3 a.m. officers were dispatched to the neighborhood near the park, in the 9500 block of Bowdoin Way, for reports of gunshots. The first officer to arrive spotted four people at the park entrance. Two of the men ran off while the two remaining men were detained.

A police dog was brought to the area and an officer announced that the dog was about to be unleashed, prompting one man to come out of the woods, police said. A firearm was later located inside the park.

Three of the men were booked into the Snohomish County Jail, police said. The fourth man was located at his Edmonds home several hours later and was still being questioned by police this afternoon.

Police said it’s unclear why the men were shooting inside the park.
