I-5 ramps to Mercer Street won't close this weekend

The previously announced closure of I-5 on- and off-ramps at Mercer Street in Seattle this weekend has been canceled due to the prospect of rainy weather, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The street improvement project work was scheduled to begin late tonight and last until early Monday morning, but the closure has been rescheduled for the following weekend, Jan. 20 – 23. Closure hours are scheduled for Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.
