Ying Chan displays a bag of goldfish outside of Liem’s Aquarium Shop in the Chinatown-International District in Seattle Thursday. Chan, who was bringing the fish to a restaurant for display in their tank, often stops by the tiny store that has been owned by his brother-in-law Djin Kwie Liem for the last 32 years. Liem said his fish for sale come from all over the world – including locations in Singapore, India, Thailand and Africa. The cheapest fish sell for about 25 cents and go up in price from there. The store can be found on Maynard Alley South, just off of South King Street.
