Tacoma, Lakewood, Lacey PDs seek info on armed robber

Suspect in series of armed robberies (LAKEWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT)

The Tacoma, Lacey and Lakewood police departments are seeking information on an armed  robber who has hit several businesses in all three jurisdictions within the past week.

Robberies occurred at a Stellar Mart, 7-11 and Papa John’s Pizza in Lakewood, a Shell Gas Station in Tacoma and Lacey Fuel in Lacey. In every incident, the suspect was described as either a black male or a person of mixed race, between 5-foot-10 and just over 6 feet, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, a bandanna over his face and carrying a semi-automatic weapon.

Officials ask anyone with tips to call any of the three police departments. Tips can also be reported anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 253-591-5959 and tipsters are eligible for a cash reward.
