Visitors top 1 million at Woodland Park Zoo in 2011

For the 11th year in a row, the Woodland Park Zoo had more that 1 million visitors in a year, according to our community news partner, Phinneywood.com.

Last year’s tally was 1,094,514.

The zoo is also getting two new critters, warthogs and Visayan warty pigs.
