Window broken, 'Occupy' graffiti sprayed on Seattle bank

There is not points to locate on the map

Vandals broke a window and left “Occupy” graffiti overnight on a Wells Fargo branch in Seattle’s Madison Park neighborhood, according to police.

The damage was reported by a bank manager at 8:48 a.m in the 4000 block of East Madison Street. Police said sometime overnight someone spray-painted the words “No Bank,” “No cops,” “Occupy” and Oakland” on the exterior doors of the bank.

On Saturday in Oakland, Occupy demonstrators broke into City Hall and battled police who made more than 400 arrests.

Another Wells Fargo branch in downtown Seattle is the target of a noon protest Tuesday promoted by the Working Washington group that says the bank is not paying its fair share of taxes, according to The Associated Press.

Working Washington spokesman Sage Wilson says the nonviolent organization has no relationship to Monday’s vandalism.

Anyone with information about the bank vandalism is asked to call 911. Anonymous tips are welcome, Seattle police said.
