Bellevue burglars no match for police dog

Two men tried hiding from the cops by covering themselves with leaves and crawling under a log this morning following a burglary in Bellevue.

Guess they didn’t figure on the police dog.

According to Bellevue police, a neighbor spotted the two men breaking into a home in the Lakemont neighborhood of Bellevue. The neighbor called 911 and provided descriptions of the men, the direction they ran from the house and even took pictures with his cell phone.

The burglars ran through nearby woods toward a golf course. The men made their way down a ravine, where they covered themselves with leaves and crawled under a log. But police were able to track them down with the help of a dog.

One of the men was treated by medics after he was bitten by the dog.
