Candlelight vigil for fallen trooper on Monday

Trooper Tony Radulescu

A candlelight vigil in honor of slain Washington State Trooper Tony Radulescu is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 27,  at 6 p.m. at the Christian Life Center in Port Orchard, according to State Patrol spokesman Guy Gill.

Another memorial service  for the trooper is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at the ShoWare Center arena in Kent, according to State Patrol spokesman Bob Calkins.

Radulescu was shot and killed last week near Gorst in Kitsap County when he made a traffic stop on Highway 16. Police tracked his suspected killer to a trailer home several miles away. The suspect shot himself and later died in the hospital.
