Five Arlington schools no longer on lockdown after robbery

There is not points to locate on the map

Five schools in Arlington were on lockdown for 45 minutes today after an armed man robbed a latte stand in downtown Arlington.

The lockdown began at 11:35 a.m. and lasted until 12:20 p.m., although authorities said they were still looking for the robber.

The robbery occurred before noon at the stand on the corner of North Olympic Avenue and East Division Street, said city of Arlington spokeswoman Kristin Banfield.  The schools that closed were Presidents Elementary School, Eagle Creek Elementary School, Post Middle School, Haller Middle School and Stillaguamish Valley School.

“We’re still looking for him,” she added.
