Flags at state agencies to fly at half-staff to honor fallen trooper

Trooper Tony Radulescu

In memory of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu, Gov. Chris Gregoire has announced that flags at all Washington state agency buildings will be lowered to half-staff this coming Thursday.

Radulescu, 44, was shot to death Feb. 23rd in Kitsap County while making a traffic stop near Gorst in Kitsap County. The lowering of flags coincides with the memorial service for the trooper scheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
