Live wires close Capitol Hill intersection and nearby streets

Live wires downed by a dump truck Monday afternoon have closed the intersection of Broadway Avenue and East Madison Street in Seattle’s Capitol Hill.

Police have also closed streets one block in each direction because of the hazardous wires.

The intersection and surrounding streets will be closed until at least 2 a.m., according to Seattle police.
