Morning Memo/Tuesday: Clam digs … Amanda Knox … School levies

Weather: A bit of drizzle this morning with some drier spells expected throughout the day. Might be some sun  tomorrow, though. Then it’s rain, rain, rain Thursday through Monday, if you believe the forecast that far out.  The details.

Traffic: The map and cams.

Josh Powell papers have been found at Washington recycling site. Among the finds: a Utah map. Powell, who along with his two young sons died in a fire he set in a Graham home, went camping in Utah about the time his wife disappeared. He was long a person of interest in her disappearance.

School levies: Hope to have some results later today for levies in several school districts in south King County yesterday.

Clam dig: Clam digging on evening low tides this coming Saturday and Sunday has been OK’d by the Fish and Wildlife Department on the coast at these beaches:  Long Beach, Twin Harbors and Mocrocks.

Amanda Knox: Italian prosecutors have formally appealed the appeals court decision that overturned her murder conviction.
