UPDATE: Snoqualmie Pass has reopened
UPDATE: 12 noon Snoqualmie Pass opened at noon today in both directions, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The highway is bare and wet with slush and standing water in places and traction tires are advised. The speed limit is 45 miles per hour.
Rain and high avalanche danger closed the pass early this morning between North Bend and Ellensburg, halting traffic in both directions.
