A Seattle District Court judge today found probable cause to hold the 21-year-old woman who allegedly caused Wednesday’s rush-hour pileup near Northgate Mall that sent several people to the hospital.

Melaine Lind is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail for investigation of felony attempting to elude police. King County prosecutors have until Tuesday to file criminal charges to continue to hold her in custody.

Police say Lind was driving the blue Dodge pickup (see photo) that they say caused the pileup.

We’ll post a story shortly
