West Seattle scuba diver identified

The man who died Sunday in a scuba diving accident in West Seattle has been identified.

Tareq Saade, 29, died of accidental drowning, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

An experienced diver who had been on at least 50 dives, Saade died while taking a deep-water class off Seacrest Park in West Seattle. His body was retrieved late Sunday night.
