Arson damages South Seattle apartment

Seattle police are investigating an arson this morning that damaged an apartment in South Seattle.

The fire was reported just after 3:30 a.m. in an unoccupied apartment in the 7500 block of Renton Avenue South. According to Seattle police, damage was limited to the single apartment unit, which was being rennovated.

The Seattle Fire Department determined the fire was deliberately set.
