There is not points to locate on the map

A man who threatened to open fire on his neighbors and police was arrested early this morning following a standoff with police.

Police responded to an apartment building in the 200 Block of Yesler Way at 8:40 last night after staff reported one of the tenants had threated to shoot people in the lobby. When officers knocked on the man’s door he threatened to shoot them as well, police said.

Additional officers, including hostage negotiators and SWAT, responded to the apartment.

Police tried to establish a dialogue with the man, but he refused to cooperate for several hours.  SWAT officers entered the apartment at 1 this morning and arrested the man without incident.

The man, 56,  was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of harassment.
