Man stabbed in Belltown brawl

A man was stabbed twice in the abdomen early Sunday morning during a brawl between two groups of people.

According to Seattle police, the victim and two of his friends were in the 200 block of Lenora Street around 2 a.m. when they got into an argument with a woman and two of her friends. The argument escalated into a fight.

The woman attacked the male victim, who then punched her and knocked her to the ground, police say.  The woman got up, advanced on the man and stabbed him twice.

The unidentified man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with what police described as life-threatening injuries. The suspect, described as being in her 20s and wearing green leggings, remained at large.
