Teen assaulted at pre-dawn rave in Seattle

There is not points to locate on the map

An 18-year-old man attending a rave early Sunday morning was beaten by as many as eight other people, Seattle police reported.

The victim told police that he and about 100 other people were at the rave, under the First Avenue South bridge just south of South Dakota Street, when he saw someone he thought was his ex-girlfriend and began to approach her.

As he did so, the victim said, eight people told him to “come here” and proceeded to punch and kick him repeatedly about the head and body until he escaped and walked to nearby South Andover Street, where he called police.

When police arrived about 4:10 a.m. at the rave site, which did not have a permit, only about 15 people were still there. Police said the victim identified one of the people still there, a 24-year-old, as one of his assailants. That person was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault; the other suspects were not caught and have not been identified, police said.

The victim, described as “bleeding profusely from the mouth and missing several teeth,” was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
