‘Twas 60 degrees today(!) Friday, winter resumes

The temperature hit 60 late Thursday afternoon at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, making it one of the warmer days of the year, according to the National Weather Service.

But following a few pleasant days, the weather is about to change, with rain moving into the Seattle area by midday Friday.

That will be part of a stormy, rainy and cooler pattern that will continue into the middle of next week, according to the weather service.
