Youth held in slaying of 17-year-old SeaTac girl

A 17-year-old male has been arrested for investigation of murder in connection with the stabbing death of a 17-year-old SeaTac girl.

The unidentified youth, described as an acquaintance of the victim, has been booked into the King County Youth Services jail, according to a statement by Tukwila Police.

According to the statement, police responded to a report of an unconscious, bleeding female shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday.

When they arrived at the suspect’s apartment, located in the 11600 block of 42nd Avenue South in Tukwila, they found the victim unconscious and suffering from stab wounds. She was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center but was pronounced dead a short time later.
