Kent man shot and wounded following fight

A fight in Kent gave way to gunshots Saturday afternoon, leaving one man seriously wounded, according to Kent police.
Police were dispatched just before 3:30 p.m. to the 20800 block of 109 Lane SE, according to a police news release. Upon arriving, officers found a Kent man,  in his 20s, who had been shot and seriously wounded.

Paramedics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center. No word on his condition was available Saturday afternoon, according to police.

Working from witness accounts, police believe several people had been involved earlier in some kind of physical fight. As the fight started to break up and people began to disperse, several gunshots rang out.

Kent police said three men in their late teens or twenties were seen fleeing the area afterward.
