Man arrested at Sea-Tac for flashing flight attendants

Port of Seattle police arrested a man today after he allegedly exposed himself to flight attendants on a flight from Albuquerque, N.M., to Seattle, according to a port spokesman.

Spokesman Perry Cooper said that officers were alerted to the man aboard Flight 265 before it landed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 11:40 a.m. It’s unclear why the man exposed himself to members of the flight crew.

Southwest Airlines says the passenger’s “behavior” prompted the captain to request authorities meet the airplane at the gate.

Because the incident occurred over another state’s air space, the FBI in Seattle will handle the investigation, Cooper said.

“We currently have investigators who are talking to the passenger,”said Ayn Saldalo Dietrich, spokeswoman for Seattle office of the FBI.

The incident did not cause a delay and the flight landed on time, Cooper added. The flight was carrying 126 passengers and a crew of five.
