Pastor stabbed: The pastor of  the Slavic Christian Center in Tacoma was stabbed in the back by a man who asked to see him yesterday. The stabber. a parishioner, took off. The pastor’s wound doesn’t appear to be life-threatening, but what’s going on here?

A small plane made a precautionary landing on a grass airstrip near Dungeness, Wash., on the Olympic Peninsula, but neither the pilot nor the flight instructor was hurt. (AP)

Fire at another marina: Two boats sank in a fire at an Anacortes marina, and the DOE is concerned 150 gallons of gasoline could spill into the water. Two other boats were damaged but remained afloat after the fire last night. (AP)

Moose poaching: A moose was killed in a popular hiking area near Spokane, according to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife. The poachers took the meat and left behind the head.

Well, they were “very nice goats…” A herd of more than 40 goats got loose in east Vancouver yesterday and dirsupted traffic for a bit. They were eventually rounded up and moved out of everyone’s way. Someone with animal control described them as very nice goats.
