North Seattle boy falls from 3rd-story window

A 6-year-old Green Lake boy was treated for non-life-threatening injuries Sunday evening after falling from a third-story window, Seattle police said.

The boy reportedly was sitting on the open window sill at his home, in the 1200 block of North 88th Street, blowing bubbles when he fell, police detective Jeff Kappel said.

Both parents were home when the accident happened about 5 p.m., Kappel said. The boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of injuries to his head and leg.
