Pioneer Square shooting victim dies
The 21-year-old woman critically injured when she was shot in the neck during a drive-by shooting in Seattle’s Pioneer Square has died.
Nicole Westbrook, who recently moved to Seattle from Albuquerque, N.M., died at Harborview Medical Center Wednesday afternoon, hospital spokeswoman Susan Gregg said.
Westbrook was shot Sunday while walking home with her boyfriend. Police believe the shooting was random.
