‘No rhyme or reason’ to the May Day mayhem

Real Change vendor Michael Wiggins

Michael Wiggins, a Real Change newspaper vendor, stood across the street from boarded-up shop windows near Fifth Avenue and Pine Street, shaking his head.

“When they go through and break a bunch of windows, what’s that supposed to do? I supported the peaceful protest. But these guys with clubs breaking windows, they’re just being rebellious with no rhyme or reason to it.”
