Amber Alert canceled after 2 Shoreline girls found safe
The King County Sheriff’s Office has canceled an Amber Alert for two girls who had been taken by their mother after she allegedly stabbed her husband Thursday morning.
The girls, ages 3 and 7, had been taken by their mother, Doreen Starrish, identified as a suspect in the stabbing that occurred in the 1500 block of Northeast 190th Street at around 8:30 a.m.
The alert was called off after the girls were found safe at the Seattle home of Starrish’s mother-in-law, the sheriff’s office announced via Twitter. They had been dropped off by a family member.
Starrish remained at large Thursday night.
