The King County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Amber Alert for two girls, ages 3 and 7, who were taken by their mother after she allegedly stabbed her husband in Shoreline.

The woman’s car, a silver, 2000 Lincoln Navigator, was later found.

Three-year-old Alice (King County Sheriff's Office)

Detectives have identified Doreen Starrish as a suspect in the stabbing that occurred in the 1500 block of Northeast 190th Street around 8:30 a.m.  Detectives said Starrish took her daughters, who had been with their father.

Helen, 7, is one of two girls whose disappearance triggered the Amber Alert.

Anyone who sees Starrish is asked to call 911 immediately.
