Body found along trail near Carnation
Hikers found a body, probably that of a woman, as they walked along a trail outside Tolt MacDonald Park in Carnation sometime after 4:30 p.m. today, said Sgt. Cindi West of the King County Sheriff’s Office.
“It’s probably a woman, but I don’t know any more than that right now,” West said by phone from Maple Valley. Although there no ID has been made, she mentioned that a Carnation woman has been missing since last month.
Lorene F. Bardy was last seen the morning of April 26 at her house in the 29200 block of Northeast 52nd Street in Carnation. The Sheriff’s Office, which provides police services to Carnation, said at the time that the 53-year-old suffered from life-threatening health issues, and that the medication she needed was found inside her house.
