FBI releases photo of Kirkland bank robber

Recognize this guy? The FBI says he robbed a Key Bank branch in Kirkland this morning and he may be responsible for four additional bank robberies this year.

The most recent robbery occurred at around 9:30 a.m. at the Key Bank on Juanita Drive Northeast. The man handed the teller a demand note and threatened that he had a weapon. 

He is described as a white man in his late 30s to early 40s, between 5-feet-10 and 6 feet tall. He is between 150 and 180 pounds and has a medium build. 

The other bank robberies that may be linked to the man:

Jan. 10: Opus Bank in Shoreline;

Feb. 13: Key Bank in Bellevue;

March 20: Union Bank in Bothell; 

April 19: Bank of Washington in Lynnwood.

Anyone with information on the robber is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to an arrest and charge.
