Man stabbed in back in North Seattle

A 33-year-old man was stabbed twice in the back between the shoulder blades at about 6:30 p.m. today, according to emergency communications from a  Seattle Fire Department medic on the scene.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to Northeast 45th Street and 7th Avenue Northeast for an assault with a deadly weapon.

Medics reported the victim had normal vital signs. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

No further information was immediately available.
