The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has released this surveillance photo of the man who robbed a bank in Stanwood last Thursday.

The man walked into the Whidbey Island Bank branch around noon and assaulted a bank teller and used a handgun to rob the bank.  Witnesses say he was in his late teens or early 20s and wore black tape across his nose, a gray “hoodie” sweatshirt, beige shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information on the man  is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office’s Anonymous Tip Line at 425-388-3845.
