President Obama’s plane landed at Boeing Field shortly before noon today.

The president was greeted by a number of Democratic political figures including former U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee, who is running for governor; Gov. Chris Gregoire; and Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn. U.S. Sen. Patty Murray accompanied Obama on the flight and walked off the plane with the president.

He’s here for a four-hour campaign stop that includes a pricey fundraising brunch at the home of a Seattle couple on Lake Washington Boulevard and an appearance at the Paramount Theatre at 3 p.m.

His motorcade left Boeing Field at 12:08 p.m. for the first campaign stop. Be prepared for traffic congestion as the president’s motorcade winds its way around the city. As part of traffic control for the president’s visit, westbound State Route 520 was stopped at Lake Washington Boulevard and westbound I-90 was stopped before the Mount Baker Tunnel.
