Man stabbed during argument in West Seattle

A 29-year-old Seattle man was stabbed this afternoon during an argument at a home in West Seattle, according to police.

Seattle police spokesman Mark Jamieson said officers were called to a home at 1:15 p.m. for a report of an argument. Emergency dispatchers told police they heard an argument and something about about a knife before the line went dead.

When police arrived at the home, in the 7500 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, they found a man with a stab wound to his side, Jamieson said.

Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore said that the man was being taken to Harborview Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.

Jamieson said that officers are investigating; no arrests have been made.
