520 bridge drawspan openings complete

Second update: Traffic flowing again; 5 p.m. drawspan opening is complete.

Update: State officials announced about 3:48 p.m. that traffic was again flowing, following the 3:30 p.m. drawspan opening.

The drawspan of the Highway 520 bridge will open at 3:30 and 5 p.m. today to allow sailboats to pass.

Drivers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes. Overhead electronic signs on highways leading to the bridge are alerting drivers to the openings.
