A two-car accident in Fremont just after 2 p.m. on Sunday ended with one of the cars, an Acura, catching fire. Both drivers got out of their vehicles before the car erupted in flames at North 39th Street and Fremont Avenue North, but the driver of the Acura was transported to Swedish Medical Center because of injuries sustained in the crash, said Seattle Fire spokesman Kyle Moore.

Firefighters quickly dowsed the flames with fire-retardant foam.
