Fire investigators in SeaTac hope to determine the cause of a fire that severely damaged a house early Friday morning.

Firefighters initially feared someone may have been in the collapsed house in the 1400 block of South 200th Street, but no victims were found.

The resident, who was not home, told investigators there had been previous incidents of transients forcing entry into the house.

The cause is listed as “undetermined,” although Fire Captain Kyle Ohashi said it does not appear to be suspicious.
