Morning Memo/Saturday: Liquor prices … hiding in bushes … Tacoma teens arrested

Weather: A 50 percent chance of showers, with a high near 63 today. Not a bad weekend for gardening with a bit of sun and rain. The National Weather Service forecast.

Traffic: The 520 bridge between Montlake Boulevard and I-405 is closed until 5 a.m. Monday for construction. The map and cams.

Liquor prices: Curious to see if liquor prices are going up or down now that private retailers can sell spirits? So are we. Tell us how much your liquor cost here, and we’ll factor in the two spirit taxes for a before-and-after comparison. If you’re curious how much liquor cost before June 1, see our database of state liquor prices (which do include tax prices).

Hiding in bushes: After reports of shots fired outside a bar in Maple Leaf early Saturday, police found a couple hiding outside in the bushes who said they had been shot at. Unfortunately for the couple, a handgun was found nearby that was registered to one of them. Mystery solved.

Tacoma teens arrested in homicide investigation: Two teenagers are in jail after their mother reported finding a body in her home Friday. Police say the body appears to be a male teenager, though the victim has not yet been identified.
