Power’s out for more than 2,700 Shoreline residents

UPDATE : 7:35 p.m. | Seattle City Light says power has been restored to all but 600 residents.

Original post: A bird that hit a power line at about 4:30 p.m. is causing a power outage for more than 2,700 Shoreline residents.

The general boundaries of the outage are 205 Street to the north, 8th Ave. NW to the west, N. 149 St. to the south, and Corliss Ave. N. to the east.  Seattle City Light has the map of those affected. The utility estimates power will be restored by 11 p.m. tonight.
