Ravenna Boulevard paving now scheduled for Thursday, Friday

The repaving of Ravenna Boulevard between Northeast 65th Street and 15th Avenue Northeast has been rescheduled for Thursday and Friday, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The project has been rescheduled several times because of weather and the shootings at Cafe Racer among other things.

Contractors are planning to complete the repaving of the road’s eastbound lanes from Eighth Avenue Northeast to Cowen Place Northeast tomorrow, and the westbound lanes from Cowen Place to Northeast 65th Street on Friday.

Paving is weather dependent and cannot be done in the rain.

According to Seattle’s DOT, the project remains on schedule and will be completed by the end of the summer.
