Another Lewis-McChord soldier reported killed in Afghanistan

The Department of Defense announced this evening that another soldier from Joint Base Lewis-McChord has been killed in Afghanistan.

Cpl. Juan P. Navarro was killed by a roadside bomb in Kandahar, the Defense Department says.

The 23-year-old Austin, Texas, man was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, the Defense Department says.
