More sun on tap for the weekend, Weather Service says

More sun is on the way at least through Sunday with only a few more clouds hanging around, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Mike McSland.

He said to expect a “partly sunny” weekend with temperatures mostly in the mid-70s, though temperatures could dip on Saturday — to the low 70s.

“Overall, it’s still better than June,” McSland said.
