Several shots were fired during an altercation between two males in North Beacon Hill near 15th Avenue South and South Walker Street at approximately 6:45 p.m., according to the Seattle Police Department’s online blotter.
Bullets hit a stop sign and several vehicles, including an SUV with a man in his 20s who told an officer he’d been shot at, said SPD’s report.
The 20-year-old said he and family members–including two other adults and two children–were getting into the SUV when a man walking down the street started shooting at them. As the 20-year-old fled the scene by car, he hit two parked cars and a stop sign. Both cars ended up with minor damage, but no one was hurt.
The suspect was last seen fleeing the area in a sedan. He’s described as a black male, 25 to 30 years of age with short dark hair, husky or medium build, and a green T-shirt.
SPD’s blotter post said officers believe the victim and suspect know each other. Gang Unit detectives are investigating the incident.
